12 years of independence, the youngest state, that of Kosovo, has faced numerous challenges. The difficulties of establishing institutions, of recognition by other states (of particular importance, the initiation of talks for mutual recognition by the Republic of Serbia), of integration into the European Union and other international organizations, in creating conditions for the free movement of citizens of it, have been and continue to be some of the issues to be resolved by the policy-making factors in Kosovo. In such conditions, it is very important to offer support, security and experience from fellow Albanians, from the Albanian state, and from its representatives in the international arena.
